How does it work?

Before you get started with our heated clothing, it's useful to know how to use it. On this page, you will experience how easy it is! We will tell you in 6 steps how to use our heated clothing.

Step 1: connect the batteries

We have designed battery pouches for each type of garment, where the battery or battery can be connected to the DC plug of the garment's heating elements, to be stored in hereafter.

We have placed the battery compartments in logical places where you are least bothered by the weight, thus ensuring your carrying comfort. The battery compartments of our outdoor items are made with a waterproof zip, so you don't have to worry when you find yourself in the rain.

Step 2: turn on the heating system

The heating systems of our heated items are easy to turn on by means of a control button, the battery, or an app you can download from the Google Playstore or Apple APPStore. Press and hold the power button on the control button for 3 seconds to turn on the heating system.

The control button is easy to find so you can easily activate or deactivate the heating system. The button colours red, green, white or blue depending on the heating mode you choose. The control button of heated softshell jackets, body warmers and vests, feature an illumination switch that also gives you the option to leave the heating systems on without lights on.

Step 3: set your desired heat setting

With the control knob, you easily set which heat setting you want to activate. Each heat setting is represented by a different colour. Vary in temperature between 45°C and 65°C degrees.

The hotter the heaters, the shorter the battery life. That is why we have built in energy-saving mode: when you activate the heaters, it automatically activates on the warmest setting for 10 minutes. Once the maximum temperature is reached and you are warmed up, it automatically switches back to a lower level to save battery. No worries: when you switch on a new setting, the energy-saving mode is deactivated again and you can enjoy continuous warmth.

Step 4: wrap yourself up: close up!

After you choose the heat setting, it's time to protect yourself optimally from the cold and start enjoying the warmth to the max. You do this by closing the zip, tightening the adjustable strap, closing the drawstring, and putting on your hood!

The better the fit, the more comfort you develop for yourself. Also, the heating elements can be felt more significantly when placed closer to your skin.

Step 6: deactivate the heating system

Enjoying HEATDRY's comfort never ends, but we understand when you want to take a moment to turn off the heating elements. Press and hold the on/off button on the control button for 3 seconds to turn off the heating system.

Disconnect the battery or accumulator from the DC plug of the heating system, and make sure the protection cap is placed back over the DC plug for optimal protection.
