General maintenance of heated clothing involves regularly checking and caring for the condition of the garment to extend its life and optimise its performance. This includes inspecting the heating elements, wiring and batteries, as well as cleaning dirt and mud and storing it properly when the garment is not in use. Proper maintenance ensures that the heat function continues to work effectively and that the fabric and technology are not damaged by use or external factors such as moisture or dirt.
How often do you maintain heated clothing?
It is important to maintain heated clothing regularly, depending on how often you wear it and under what conditions. With daily use and in extreme conditions, such as rain or mud, it is wise to check and clean the clothing after each use. With daily use under normal conditions, we recommend checking the clothes weekly. For less frequent use, a monthly inspection may be sufficient. Batteries should be checked regularly for wear, and the clothing itself should be cleaned as directed to ensure that everything continues to work properly. Check with regularity
We all hate it so much, maintaining things and cleaning things. Yet when it comes to clothes, it is incredibly important to maintain them properly. It may take some work and some effort, but the result is that you can last a lot longer with it than if you didn't maintain it properly. Good maintenance starts with a check: make sure you regularly check your garment for dirt, tears and the technology (wiring structure and batteries). Check that heat is distributed evenly, and check well there is visible wear or damage to the wires or structure of the fabric. By performing these checks systematically, you can address small problems early before they lead to breakdowns or dangerous situations.
Dirt and mud
