1. Remove the Batteries: first remove the batteries from the jacket to avoid damage during washing.
2. Secure the Cables: Use the supplied cable protectors to protect the heating cables from wear and damage.
3. Use a laundry bag: place the jacket in a laundry bag to provide extra protection from friction and movement in the machine. This will help extend the life of the jacket.
4. Choose the correct wash programme: wash the jacket on a mild programme with cold water. Avoid hot water and heavy spinning as these can damage the materials.
5. Air drying: After washing, let the jacket air dry, preferably lying down or on a hanger. Do not use a dryer, as this may damage the heating elements.
